/ Inspiration – Comparison

I have been following the branding for St Germain for a while now as one of the best i have seen lately in Liquor. Its all about conveying the atmosphere of Paris Circa 1920-1930 and the US based design firm in charge of the account has done a great job so far. A la Balthazar and Pastis for those who are familiar with the New York City Eateries. Minus the typo in the french text of the happy new year card, everything else is really gorgous and there has been a lot of attention paid to the material, colors and patterns and printing techniques. I also came across the Guerlain Perfume bottle and couldn’t escape the comparison in how they relate to the same period…
